Located just east of Linton on SR 54, it is named in honor of the late Hollywood star, Phil Harris, who returned each year until his death in 1996 for the Phil Harris Golf Tournament, which through the years featured such famous figures as Bob Knight, Chris Schenkel and Ernie Banks.  The 18-hole course has a Club House built by the Civilian Conservation Corps as a project of the Works Progress Administration.
